If your company is interested in being considered, please respond by submitting your Response as instructed in Section 3 of this RFQ.
In this RFQ, the words below have the following meanings:
"Closing Date" has the meaning given to it in Section 2.2.
"Owner" has the meaning given to it in Section 0.
"Project" has the meaning given to it in Section 0.
"Respondent" means a corporation, firm, partnership, joint venture, consortium or other entity, who together or individually, or in some combination thereof, has submitted a Response to this RFQ.
"Response" means the response to this RFQ submitted by a Respondent.
"RFP" means the Request for Proposals that may be issued following the RFQ process.
"RFQ" means this Request for Qualifications.
2. Request for Qualifications
All enquiries related to this RFQ are to be directed electronically to the contact person at the following email address:

2.2 Closing Date and Delivery of Responses
Responses must be received by email before 5 PM, on December 30th, 2020 (the "Closing Date" ) at the following email address: Johnathan@farsight.ca. The Owner reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to extend the Closing Date at any time.
2.3 Review and Selection
The Owner will review Responses against the evaluation criteria described in Section 3. Qualified Respondents will be provided with a copy of the RFP if one is issued.
3. Evaluation Criteria
Responses will be assessed against the following criteria:
1. Company’s Experience
2. Company’s proven experience to deliver project requirements on time and on budget
3. Qualifications of Key Personnel
The Owner reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to consider and use additional factors in evaluating, accepting or rejecting Responses.
4. Submission Requirements
Respondents should ensure that their Responses includes the following:
1. Cover Letter and Statement of interest
2. Contact information for the individuals who will be the primary point of contact during the procurement
3. A description of the company’s relevant experience
4. Company References
5. Conflict of Interest
Respondents shall disclose, as part of their Response, any real or perceived conflict of interest that exists now or may exist in the future, with respect to the RFQ, the Owner or any resulting transaction.
6. No Collusion
Respondents must ensure their Responses are prepared without any connection, knowledge, comparison of information or arrangement with any other Respondent.
7. Costs and Fees
The Owner shall have no responsibility or liability to Respondents or other parties for any costs and expenses incurred by Respondents or other parties relating to this RFQ process for any reason whatsoever and regardless of the outcome of this RFQ, including if the Owner elects to terminate the RFQ and the RFQ process. All costs and expenses incurred by any person in connection with a Response to this RFQ, or otherwise in connection with this RFQ, are for the account and responsibility of such person. No compensation or commissions will be paid by the Owner to any brokers, advisors or other intermediaries, or to the Respondents themselves.
8. No Damages
The Owner shall not be liable, in contract, tort, restitution or any other legal theory, to parties for any claim, action, costs, losses, damages or liability whatsoever arising from any act or omission of the Owner in connection with the RFQ process including, without limitation, the rejection of any or all Responses, the evaluation of any Responses, conduct of negotiations with any Respondents, the selection of any Responses, the exercise of any right or for any information, advice, errors or omissions that may be contained in the RFQ.
9. No Contract or Commitment Created by this RFQ
It should be understood that absolutely no commitment has been made to proceed with the Project, the RFP or any written contract related to the Project. Neither the issuance of this RFQ and submission of a Response nor the participation by the Owner in the evaluation and negotiation process outlined herein will create a commitment or any form of agreement or contract between the Owner and any Respondent.
10. Nature of Information Provided
The Owner does not make any representations or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of the information contained in this RFQ or in any response to any verbal or written questions or requests for information posed by any Respondents and shall have no liability for such information. Respondents should satisfy themselves of the accuracy and completeness of all such information. The Owner does not make any representation or warranty that the information provided in this RFQ will not change after it has been provided by the Respondents.
11. Modification of Terms
The Owner reserves the right to modify the terms of this RFQ at any time in its sole discretion. This includes, without limitation, the right to cancel this RFQ at any time without issuing an RFP and the right to cancel the RFP at any time without entering into a written contract for the Project.
12. Ownership of Responses
All documents, including Responses, submitted in response to this RFQ become the property of the Owner.
